Peter Capaldi is one of the UK's most loved actors and respected directors. His career has been celebrated with many awards including numerous BAFTAs and an Academy Award for the short film, Franz Kafka's It's A Wonderful Life, which Peter directed.
Though most widely renowned for his portrayal of Malcolm Tucker in The Thick of It and In The Loop - played with such aplomb that he was asked by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie to teach them to swear! - HiBROW looks forward to his forthcoming roles as Leonardo Da Vinci and The Guardian editor, Alan Rusbridger, in Bill Condon's WikiLeaks film, The Fifth Estate.
Here, Peter joins raconteur Richard Strange and Sarah Jane Morris, formerly of The Communards, for a intimate, acoustic version on Lou Reed's Pale Blue Eyes.
This surprise encounter was a part of Richard Strange's A Mighty Big If series, filmed at The House of St Barnabas. The House of St Barnabas has been a charity in the heart of Soho, London since 1846. Its vision is to create a future where sustained employment is a reality for those affected by homelessness. The Charity will achieve this through its Employment Academy, which will operate at the heart of its not for profit members club. A Mighty Big If is part of The House of St Barnabas’ Culture Series which takes place in the charity’s beautiful 19th century French Gothic Chapel.
