Richard Strange is an actor, musician, writer and legendary Soho impresario whose monthly London salon event, ‘A Mighty Big If’, pairs Richard with guests from all walks of creative life to share conversation and ideas in a venue like no other. Essentially a live and alternative chat show, ‘A Mighty Big If’ takes place in the intimate surroundings of the St Barnabas chapel in the heart of Soho. HiBROW partnered with Richard Strange at these events to bring the experience of ‘A Mighty Big If’ exclusively to its audience. HiBROW's production team captured a lively encounter between Richard and the award-winning British artist Gavin Turk, and in the near future HiBROW will bring you a further meeting of minds between Richard and the groundbreaking filmmaker, musician and artist Mike Figgis. In this musical interlude, David Coulter joins Richard in a performance of Sleep the Gentle Sleep - a song Richard wrote in dedication to his friend the novelist, punk poet, playwright, essayist, postmodernist and sex-positive feminist writer, Kathy Acker.
