Vasily Petrenko
DESCRIPTION
Vasily is Chief Conductor of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and has worked since 2006 with this world-famous orchestra, which draws huge local audiences. Born in 1976, Vasily began his musical education at the St Petersburg Capella Boys Music School and the St Petersburg Conservatoire. From 2004 to 2007, he was Chief Conductor of the State Academy Orchestra of St Petersburg. In summer 2013, he will become Chief Conductor of Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra.
