DESCRIPTION

Both Nam Le and Sebastian Faulks have been praised for the worlds they create in their storytelling. Here they will talk to author Amity Gaige and James Walton about the power of place in fiction writing.

Amity Gaige’s Schroder is a lyrical and deeply affecting novel recounting the seven days a father spends on the road with his daughter.

Nam Le’s The Boat was shortlisted for six major prizes and won the 2008 Dylan Thomas Prize and the Pen/Malamud Award.

James Walton is a writer and critic and is the writer and presenter of Radio 4's books quiz, The Write Stuff.   Part of the Folio Prize Fiction Festival, presented by The Folio Society in partnership with the British Library.
